The Sunny Taylor band consists of Taylor on vocals and acoustic guitar; Ben Porter on electric guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Peter Jacobs on bass and vocals; and Dan Willig on drums, cajon, and bells.

The artwork on the album was painted by local artist Terry Ratliff with photography by Mary Hettinger Riemen and hair by Brooke Woodward.

The album is her maiden release on Fort Wayne, Ind., label Rockhill Records, managed by local marketing consultant and musician Jon Swerens. Another first for Sunny Taylor: The CD of “Map to the Fire” includes the complete lyrics for her songs.
